Dana Duplan is a singer-songwriter-guitarist currently residing in the rural town of Ramona, California.  With a father from New Orleans and a mother from Texas/New Mexico, there was always a variety of good tunes in the house, and his interest in music developed at a very young age.  After spending a couple of years thumping on a homemade cigar box guitar with a fishing line for strings, his parents surprised him with his first real guitar on his tenth birthday.  Dana’s dedication to developing and improving his skills as a musician started immediately, and his passion burns to this day.

Dana has primarily focused on American roots-based music since he began performing over fifty years ago.  In this, solo acoustic show,  you’ll hear an eclectic mix of Country, Western, Folk, Blues, Swing, Old-Timey, and humorous Novelty songs, some even dating back to the beginning of recorded music!
