Ashley E. Norton is the lead singer of international touring duo, Whitherward. Beginning her long career in the Arizona music scene, Ash moved to Nashville in 2010 to pursue a career in Country music. There she hosted many successful songwriter nights, wrote hundreds of songs and worked with some of Nashville’s finest musicians and producers, including Johnny Garcia, lead guitar player for Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood. Tired of working within the confines of the music industry, she left for a turn in the world of Americana and became a huge champion for independent music. Since 2014, she’s been touring the United States, Europe and The United Kingdom non-stop, solo and with her indie Americana folk duo/trio, with a dozen independent studio releases, multiple official music videos, and more on the way.
