Saturday, July 16th, 2 pm to 5 pm at Three Hills Winery
BLARNEY [blahr-nee]
noun: flattering or wheedling talk; cajolery. verb : to flatter or wheedle; use blarney
... and so it `tis with the Blarney Band; smooth, flattering song, often nonsensical. A father and son duo, Keith and Daniel Shannon make up the sound of Blarney. Blending strong harmonious voices with a variety of instruments, in order to successfully present an array of Irish, Scottish, and Celtic music.
Keith, the son of a son of an Irishman, resides primarily in Illinois and preforms as Blarney Man, in addition to Truckee, California. Daniel resides in Washington State, as Blarney Dan. On this occasion, you’ll have the Blarney Man. Keith has been performing Irish Pub songs professionally for the past 23 years and has had the opportunity to play solo from Crescent City, CA, to Indianapolis, IN, to St. Louis, MO, Madelyn Island, WI, and Keller TX, Reno and Carson City, NV … to name a few. The music is inviting, and you'll find yourself singing and clapping along in short order. The passion and love for the music is contagious. If you are Irish, you will find yourself home again... if you are not Irish? ... You soon will be.
